Bartending has experienced a paradigm shift, morphing from the industry you worked in before getting a “real job” to a covetable profession with its own cachet. That said, the industry still has the same training and skills advancement that we did a decade ago. In this session, Kelsey Ramage and Iain Griffiths (the alchemists behind many beverage programs around the world, and the co-owners of Toronto’s Supernova Ballroom) discuss the importance of scheduled and monitored in-house training programs, and why these programs should involve more than just spec practice and spirit education in order to truly develop a workplace culture.
